چکیده
Aim of study: The present study aimed to model soil physical and chemical properties through multiple linear regression tree techniques.
Area area is located between 41,07 – 41,33 N latitude 41,74 42,27 E longitude in Artvin, which the Colchis part Black Sea Region Turkey.
Material methods: models were used predict using topographic climatic features as independent variables. Besides, relationships variables determined by Pearson correlation.
Main results: results revealed that accuracy generally was higher than those regression. Up 56% 59% variance accounted for tree, respectively. easting, northing, elevation, minimum temperature parameters key drivers both models. Increasing depth significantly increased pH reduced organic carbon, total nitrogen, carbon/nitrogen ratio.
Highlights: Topographic such texture, pH, ratio techniques. most influential factors on temperature, latitude, actual
evapotranspiration, mean distance ridge, radiation index.

Predicting active-layer soil thickness using topographic variables at a small watershed scale
Knowledge about the spatial distribution of active-layer (AL) soil thickness is indispensable for ecological modeling, precision agriculture, and land resource management. However, it is difficult to obtain the details on AL soil thickness by using conventional soil survey method. In this research, the objective is to investigate the possibility and accuracy of mapping the spatial distribution ...

Predicting Africa Soil Properties Using Machine Learning Techniques
Different machine learning algorithms were assessed for estimating five functional soil parameters (SOC content, Calcium content, Phosphorous content, sand content, and pH value). The algorithms used include variants of linear regression and support vector regression. A closer look at the prediction performance for each target revealed that apart from pH, which consistently had worse performanc...
متن کاملSoil water balance performs better than climatic water variables in tree species distribution modelling
Aim: Soil water is essential for the physiological processes of plant growth and fitness. Owing to the difficulty of assessing wide variations in soil water reserves, plant distribution models usually estimate available water for plants through such climatic proxies as precipitation data (P) or climatic water balance (P minus potential evapotranspiration). We evaluated the ability of simple cli...
متن کاملModelling complex soil properties as contaminated regionalized variables
Robust estimators of the variogram can be used to identify a random function that describes the background variation of a soil property with the minimum influence of contaminants from a quasi point process. A method is proposed to exploit this to identify data which are best treated as a realization of a quasi point process rather than of a continuous random function for purposes of spatial ana...
